Mas de la Pansa wine
Our essence
A precise and meticulous style of making organic wines.
They are all limited transient releases, made with indigenous varieties, which reflect the wisdom of old vines and transmit the terroir of Alt Camp and Conca de Barberà. These honest and elegant wines are austere and expressive, marked by acidity, freshness and subtlety. True micro-releases, inspired by the experience of several generations of winegrowers that have preceded us.
2016 marked the beginning of wine production, spearheaded by the idea of creating high-quality wines from the existing old-vine Trepat, Parellada and Macabeo family plots.
I myself collect the family legacy from generations of viticulturists, especially from my grandfather and father who dedicated themselves to farming, particularly in viticulture.
Our history is defined by past harvests, which have always been our greatest source of learning, as no two harvests are ever the same. We have always worked with the intention of crafting unique and high-quality wines.
Beginnings and Vision
Passion and constant dedication have allowed us to grow with solidity and determination.
The Masia
Located between the towns of Rodonyà and Vila-rodona, represents our close connection to the Alt Camp area. It is the link I needed to fulfill the dream of recovering old, forgotten vines and creating wines, informed by my grandfather’s knowledge and my father’s close collaboration. This masia dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. Back then, wine was produced directly in the house, and a few spaces bear witness to that.
The surroundings present a flat, orderly, and almost sculpted landscape, with characteristic fringes and dry-stone huts. This is our father’s territory as a farmer and a winegrower, and my love for the land is certainly inspired by him. Mas de la Pansa is a family farmhouse that will soon host part of the winery’s wine tourism offerings.
